Profile

Charlotte is a business psychologist and executive coach, with over 25 years’ experience working in the field of talent assessment and development.  Based in the UK, she has accumulated significant experience working internationally in geographies that includes Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East, with particular experience in central and eastern Europe. Recent clients include, amongst others, a FTSE 100 multinational, an international accounting firm, a management consulting firm, a family-owned manufacturing business, and a social impact investing firm.

Charlotte is an experienced executive coach, developer of coaches and a qualified coaching supervisor to other coaches. Her approach draws upon a wide range of techniques as appropriate to the situation and individual, but her core strength is in applying her psychological expertise and mind-set.  Her passion as a psychologist and developer of people, is in helping individuals understand themselves and others better, and through this, increasing their personal effectiveness and the quality of relationships they have.  In the area of leadership development, she works to help individuals articulate and capitalise on their own, unique leadership style, which builds on personal strengths and values, often employing diagnostics such as psychometric questionnaires and peer feedback and coaching to facilitate this.

Further interests include helping leaders and managers develop a coaching approach to managing people and she has designed and delivered a number of programmes for clients on this topic.  She regularly coaches managers on how to get the best from their team members and develop their potential, and how to have challenging conversations, skilfully. She also enjoys working with senior business leaders to help them shape and implement their talent management strategies.

One of her most recent ventures is the forming of a think tank together with two colleagues. The aim is to identify how research and learning in the psychological field, can inform policy and practice in current topics of organisational and societal concern, one such topic being unconscious bias.

Charlotte is a chartered business psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society.  She has a degree in Psychology from the University of London, Goldsmith’s College, a master’s degree in occupational psychology from the University of East London and a master’s degree in neuroscience from City, University of London.  She is qualified in a wide range of psychometric instruments, coaching methodologies  and holds a Professional Certificate in Coaching Supervision from Henley Business School.

Charlotte lives in rural Herefordshire with her family and is currently studying part time for a PhD in Social Neuroscience and emotion processing, which is serving to provide new angles on the astonishing capabilities of the human brain and its relationship to behaviour.
